The Toho Zinc Group is currently restructuring its business portfolio to achieve stable earnings and create the company we visualize in 2030.
The cornerstones of this are the advanced technical capabilities we have accumulated in metal smelting and refining since the company's founding in 1937 and our material-recycling mindset.

Currently, the Group is implementing its 12th Three-year Medium-Term Plan (fiscal 2021 to 2023).
The smelting and refining business, an upstream business, must directly confront the issue of saving the global environment. Like the lead smelting industry, the energy-intensive zinc smelting industry must expand the ratio of recycled materials used, and the Group aims to be a key player in resource recycling in Japan.
The mineral resources business is joining the development of the Abra lead mine in Western Australia, contributing to the stable supply of mineral resources.
In addition, our downstream businesses including our environment and recycling business, electronic components and advanced materials businesses are critical for achieving the sustainable growth of the Toho Zinc Group, and we have positioned these at the core of our growth strategy as we work to expand our business.
Toho Zinc will help resolve social issues by supporting Japan's resource circulation economy and global warming policies through supplying our superior products and technologies.

The Group will do its utmost to continue to improve product quality and ensure stable supply, and actively engage in work-style reform for employees and the resolution of human rights issues as we contribute to the development of a global society together with our customers.
